East-West Education (EWE) founded in 2000 is a Registered Charity 1087903 in England that aims to

  • help disadvantaged young people in India through vocational training and fairly paid employment.
  • facilitate the understanding and appreciation of other cultures among young children in the West.

    • EWE is run as a social enterprise – trading goods whilst having a social impact.  We work with partners in India to produce quality award-winning resources.  We support the women who work with us through healthcare, life skills classes and grants for further education or training.  Our UK operation is run by volunteers to maximize the profits going back to support the communities who make the products.

    Our unique business model ensures an impact on communities in both the East and West.
